Through summarizing of the so far experiences in reconstruction and visualizing of several ancient settlements and fortresses in nowdays Serbia, we try to imply some crucial guidelines that should lead every enterprise of the kind and each expert involved in particular. It’s mean that in most recent years developing of 3D Graphics and Multimedia software has achieved a certain point when technology and media overwhelmed skilnes and knowledge of an individual scholar, a moment when it is not possible to achieve scientific and most objective recreation of historical and cultural monuments of any kind if an interdisciplinary and efficient Project’s team has not been gathered. Furthermore, due to high costs of such Reconstruction in Multimedia, we took the stand that each Project should be defined in it’s initial phase as an task that would bring the most possible benefits to archaeological site or monument that we try to reveal to the public. By following this idea, we suggests that first wave of popularizing of the history of some monument should be turned to producing of large and hard 3D Reconstruction model as a bank of data for conducting of scientific and popular books on monography and CD as a most valuable “publishing monument” of our time. A very rare Virtual Reconstruction made so far could be highly appraised in a sense of its realistic appearances, because VR Model demand a significant impoverish of the textures and 3D structure quality. Of course, we look in forward when technology will allow virtualization of detailed models. In the meantime we recommend carefully building of 3D Restitution by the architectural guidelines, which mean that we should take care about modeling of each significant structure by its horizontal layouts and vertical cross-sections, equipping polygons with exact and high-quality textures, making them ready to be used in multipurpose presentation.
