Processing of data that you make known to us
Insofar as personal data may be entered on the website, the user discloses this data on an expressly voluntary basis.
- If you write to us using the contact forms/registration forms, we will collect and store all data that you provide us with. It is obligatory to provide your name, an e-mail address, registration for the conference (speaker, presenter, participant), details about the payment, details about the lecture or presentation and a message text. If you do not provide us with this data, we cannot answer your inquiry or enable you to participate in the conference. All other information that you provide assists us with processing your inquiry and making contact with you.
We store this data at least until the date of the annual conference. In the case of you giving your consent or there being a justifiable interest in doing so, we will store this data beyond this period.
Your abstract(s) with your name and affiliation and your paper(s) of the proceedings with your name and affiliation will be stored for a longer period to enable scientific citation.
- If you register for our newsletter, we process all data that you provide (title, name, e-mail address, newsletter subscriptions) for mailing purposes. It is only required to indicate the desired newsletter and a valid e-mail address.
You can unsubscribe from further messages at any time, free of charge, by sending an e-mail to news@chnt.at.
We store this data for at least the duration of the newsletter subscription. In the case of you giving your consent or there being a justifiable interest in doing so, we will store this data beyond this period.
Processing of the data that we collect resulting from your usage
- The supply of personal data is not required for the use of our website. However, our web server nonetheless collects that data which your internet browser discloses to us (inter alia the name of the page and/or file accessed, date, time, internet browser used, the page (referer) from which you accessed our website, screen resolution and operating system). We process this data so as to be able to find errors and optimise our service. This data is retained for a maximum of 3 month. It is impossible to identify you as a person from this data.
- If you use one of our online forms, then in addition we also store your IP address so as to be able to trace misuse (e.g. registration under a false identity). We store your IP address for a period of the annual conference.
