Outline:

Rise of commercial construction activities created possibility to research gret areas in the city.  Range of individual projects is sometimes the last possibility of archeological research on the grounds.

Abstract:

With Bratislava as an example, the following article evaluates the perspectives and the prospects of the archaeological research in the municipal area under various conditions of monument preservation. It divides the municipal area into different categories depending on the intended usage of individual grounds containing different concentrations of archeological findings. The evaluations by the author of the article are based on results of long-term field research by the Municipal Monuments-Preservation Office in Bratislava.
