In this paper, we present a method to digitally reassemble an object to its original form the 3D data of its components which are assumed to be non-rigidly deformed. Targeting wooden artifacts, we developed an algorithm to deform the components parametrically, and constraints based on the physical properties of wood are imposed on the deformation. We apply our method to a deformed cultural asset, specifically the first solar boat of King Khufu which are made of wood.
