Abstract:
The archaeological collection of MAX is representative of different indigenous groups that occupied the Lower São Francisco during the pre-colonial period, thus safeguarding the history of those who had no history. According to Carvalho (2005) its archaeological collection brings together about 55 thousand pieces, however according to information from the direction of the museum, is still in the initial process one systematic cataloging to confirm this finding. The collection includes pieces that depict human skeletons, utensils and graphic records related to aspects of the culture of man, as revealed in the searches, was already in the area for at least 9000 years. This video aims to show search engines and interaction through the process of scanning 360 which consists of translating the archaeological collections Ceramic Archaeology Museum Xingó (MAX), leaving the real to the virtual, through a system of classification of documents and thereby ensuring a better systematization of data and greater flexibility in the research field. Beyond the scanning process, the study will also make up to ensure the objects, systematize and streamline the information regarding inventory exhibits of Museu de Arqueologia de Xingó, demonstrating how the use of these technologies is being incorporated into archaeological research. In order to better inform the typology of the expository mode Museu de Arqueologia de Xingó, this study cites two arrangements listed by author Nelia Dias (1994): the arrangement “typological” and arrangement “geographic”, associated with two different modalities of vision and two different types of memory, two different ways to acquire and retain knowledge (DIAS, 1994:165). The study is part of the core of the relationship between archeology, museology and information on preserving memory.
