More and more this process is penetrating deeper in the development and preparation of cultural projects, affecting from the sketch of the conceptual idea to the final presentation of the cultural contents to the user. In this sense, preparing the documentation is one of the main subjects, in which the new technologies have its particular influence.
Appeared in recent years, intuitive and attractive mobile devices have facilitated the interaction between the user and the cultural heritage and so they have rapidly found their application in the interpretation of cultural heritage. Thanks to its possibilities of free creating, editing and managing of interactive contents, mobile devices establish new standards of operation and interaction with the information about cultural monuments that gradually lead to changes in the process of creating and preparing interpretative projects.

The article reviews and analyzes in detail the system of filtering information of “classical” museography projects and its adaptation and transformation for the characteristics of mobile devices. Finally, the article ends with the conclusions about the main features of the documentation designed for the use of mobile devices and emphasizes its distinctive characteristics.
