of terrestrial laser scan data in real time

Nikolaus STUDNICKA
(RIEGL Laser Measurement Systems GmbH, Austria)

This workshop starts with a few live scans with the RIEGL VZ-400i laser scanner around the RIEGL booth. One scan per minute with 22.5 million measurements can be performed. At the same time, five high-resolution photos are taken. Now it is also possible to register these scan positions in the scanner at the same time. The audience is shown a floor plan map on the mobile phone during the recording.

In the second half of the workshop the data will be transferred to the computer, converted and filtered. Both the colored point cloud and an orthogonal point cloud in the so-called X-ray view will be demonstrated.

The workshop will take place at the booth of RIEGL Laser Measurement Systems GmbH in room 317
