The multimedia program presents the most important sites, towns, fortifications and monuments from the Roman Period next to the Amber Road.
There are two types of information about the historical sites: in the first section (ARCHEO) the history and the topography of the Roman places is being presented, the second part (TOUR) gives some touristical information about the present town or site. After the opening of the trilingual CD we can choose between the lines: 1/ Amber Road (Archeo), 2/ Tour, 3/ the origin and the history of the amber, and 4/ an interesting Quiz. Between this parallel sections and between the languages are permanent possibility to change.
In the texts of the site’s descriptions some marked words give detailed information about the most important historical data (for example: short biographies of imperators), but moreover about some daily things of the Roman life.
This CD is useful in the education, moreover by planing a travel to visit cultural historical sites. The editor thank to the members of the Amber Road Working Group from Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Austria, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland for the kind cooperation.
