How to clean up the Past?

The presentation of the workshop follows or precedes the item presented in the lecture. Using and explaining the methods used for digitising old excavations, participants will learn what problems need to be accessed and solved with old excavations in order to disclose them for it-analyses.
Focus will be on the original drawings and recorded data of Dorestad/Wijk bij Duurstede. By showing the different aspects of this example, participants will get an idea of the methods and education needed to perform the necessary steps.
