Finding, processing and preserving cultural heritage could be seen as its birth. Once „born“ and introduced to the public, cultural heritage yearns to grow and eventually become irreplaceable teacher. We all learn from cultural heritage how it used to be, what were the currents that brought us to present, and so many things more. However, for a long time integration of cultural heritage in wider social and economy life of communities, regions and countries was on the margins of scientific interest. Fast development of tourism and especially cultural tourism emerged the issues of cooperation between sectors and raised concerns about the life of cultural heritage. 11th Congress Cultural Heritage and New Technologies provided the opportunity to learn how different elements of cultural heritage are approached in different countries. The need for new ideas, coming from the experiences of fellows from abroad about how they solved problems that we were/are facing or problems that will wait for us in future, appears to be urgent. Thus, further and in-depth sharing of information and experiences is important step in building solid basis for (hopefully) happy future of cultural heritage in its widest appearances. As we learnt from experiences of the fellows that participated last year’s cultural heritage sessions on-going improvements of cultural heritage’s life conditions in many countries encourage further discussion regarding the variety of issues concerned with the life of cultural heritage. Deeply believing in constructivism of the experiences the aim of the session is to constructively present experiences, initiatives and ideas regarding the perspectives of cultural heritage and cultural tourism as apparently the most active approach in promoting cultural heritage. How to foster interactivities? What’s on & what’s off… What’s hot & what’s cold… What’s new & what’s old… Let’s join new cultural heritage (ad)venture!
