On Tuesday, January 29, 2019 the very sad message reached us that Willem Beex had passed away the previous weekend.
This is terrible news: we were all in a state of shock. Working with Willem through all these years was incredibly enriching and so much fun. And he was a mentor to many of the young scientists coming to CHNT. We all have so many memories, which of course come back to us in this difficult moment.

We lost a wonderful colleague and a very good friend. Willem will leave a big gap in the CHNT which cannot be closed. Willem was one of the most active members of the scientific committee.
