The gap between archaeologists and citizens is very wide: citizens are interested in archaeology and history especially those of the surrounding area do not dare or do not know how to get in touch with archaeologists and archaeologists usually work for themselves, do not take the world around them anymore. How can two very different and almost opposite worlds work together to make archaeology comprehensible to everyone? We will clarify this in the Round Table “Citizen participation“.
